When did the Conquest of Makkah take place?
The Conquest of Makkah, known as Fateh Makkah in Arabic, took place on January 11, 630 CE (20th of Ramadan in the 8th year of the Hijra). This event marked the peaceful capture of Makkah by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his followers, leading to the restoration of the Kaaba as a center of monotheistic worship and the establishment of Islamic authority in the region.
