If the debtor is able to pay the debt with the expenses of Hajj and Hajj does not prevent him from paying, or Hajj was with the permission and consent of the creditor while he was aware of the debtor’s condition, then Hajj is permissible. Otherwise, it is not permissible, because paying off the debt takes precedence. However, if he performs Hajj, then his Hajj is valid.
